Peak potential is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in a hands-on volunteering experience. The pool of volunteers is incredibly diverse in age and experience. From high school students to medical professionals, from expert climbers to people who have no climbing experience, many have chosen to commit their time to ensure that Peak Potential continues to reach as many kids as possible. Currently, almost all of our volunteers attend our twice a week sessions as belayers and provide hands-on help. As the organizations grows, there will be opportunities for others to help in media relations, fund raising, and other administrative duties.

We encourage anyone interested to contact us via email at peakclimb.org or call our contact number. We also welcome anyone to come and attend a session during the week to see first hand this unique volunteer opportunity. Please contact us beforehand so we know to expect you.

New volunteers will be trained on how to modify general belaying (holding the rope for a climber)  technique for the kids. Every person will need to be belay certified by NJ Rock gym prior to being allowed to belay for the kids.

Peak potential is funded purely by donations. None of the volunteers are paid and the space is generously donated by NJ Rock Gym for our use. If you are unable to volunteer your time, would you kindly help us cover operational and administrative costs? Send your tax-deductible donation to 373D Rote 46W Fairfield NJ 07004.
